Certificate of thanks and honor
For social merits
In 1989, the city of Hof created a certificate of thanks and honor for social services. It is intended to honor both a long-standing, regular and honorary activity in social work with charities or other associations, as well as the long-standing and unpaid assistance and care. As an external sign, a badge of honor is awarded.
Suggestions for the award of the certificate of thanks and honor with the honorary pin can be submitted informally to the city of Hof.

Medal of Honor of the Bavarian Minister President
The Bavarian Minister-President's Medal of Honor has been awarded since 1994 in recognition of many years of outstanding honorary service. It is awarded to people who have rendered outstanding services through active work in clubs, organizations and other communities with cultural, sporting, social or other charitable objectives. The services should have been rendered primarily in the local area and, as a rule, should have lasted at least 15 years.
