The city marketing would like to connect different actors from different areas and thereby bring about positive things for the city of Hof and the region.

The association Stadtmarketing Hof e.V. was founded in 1997 by representatives of the retail trade in the city of Hof.

Since 2002, the city of Hof has been very involved in the association. The association is independent, but uses the structures of the city administration. Mayor Eva Döhla is involved in the association as its first chairwoman.

Since October 01, 2021, Carsten Reichel, coordinator of city marketing in the city of Hof, has been managing the association. This creates a full interlocking with the city administration.
