Town hall tour for immigrants

At the end of April, a special guided tour took place in the town hall of Hof as part of the project "Arrived! Zugewanderte verstehen Hochfranken" project organized by the Hofer Land adult education centre. 20 participants in the project had the opportunity to get to know the diverse tasks and structures of the municipal administration.

The Department of Demography and Migration organized the informative tour of the town hall, during which the visitors were able to visit some of the administration's buildings and field offices. The work of the various departments was also explained. Rooms such as the small meeting room brought the history of the city to life. In order to give the immigrants an understanding of the historical development of the city of Hof, Kevin Fischer, Integration Officer of the city of Hof, gave a presentation on the city's history.

The update of the integration concept was then presented. The participants of the project course were invited to contribute their wishes, ideas and suggestions. The lively participation resulted in valuable contributions that will be incorporated into the updating of the integration concept.
