Presentation of the volunteer card at the senior citizens' cinema
The Hofer Seniorenkino once again offered a special movie experience for film fans aged 60 and over. In a relaxed atmosphere, senior citizens were able to enjoy the classic film "The Taste of Small Things" together on the big screen.
In addition to the film, there was a little surprise: after a welcome from Dr. Burkhard Baier, Head of Schools, Youth, Social Affairs and Sport in the City of Hof, the City of Hof's Volunteer Officer, Sebastian Ott, honored Seniors' Council members Gabriele Rogge and Peter Reich for their 25 years of voluntary work by awarding them the golden volunteer card in front of the packed auditorium of the Senior Citizens' Cinema. The Bavarian Volunteer Card is a visible sign of recognition for special civic commitment. It expresses appreciation for daily commitment in voluntary work, which should be particularly recognized and rewarded. Various discounts are available on presentation of the volunteer card to the acceptance partners.
