Art and culture are as important as the air we breathe. We as the city of Hof also see it that way and do a lot to offer our citizens and guests a diverse and lively art and culture scene. From performances by our two "cultural flagships", the Hof Theater and the Hof Symphony Orchestra, to major events in the Hof Freedom Hall, to fine art and cultural history in the Bavarian Vogtland Museum and the Johann Christian Reinhart Cabinet, or readings and lectures in the municipal library - in all these places you can experience the facets of art and culture. In addition, there are cultural events that have grown over decades and are now recognized throughout the country, such as the International Hof Film Festival, which attracts thousands of enthusiastic viewers to the Saale city every year. In addition, there is cabaret, exhibitions and music events organized by private initiatives, and much more. Hof's cultural life is colorful and wide-ranging; we are justifiably proud of this.
