The question of how Hof should develop by 2040 concerns the entire urban community. This is why we attach great importance to the targeted and constructive participation of the people of Hof and numerous stakeholders in our city in these projects and processes. Current status of the integrated urban development concept
The analysis of the current situation has now been completed. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of the city of Hof have been identified, the need for action determined and a target system developed on this basis. The analysis to date has been carried out with the participation of many stakeholders. For example, numerous comments from the citizens of Hof were recorded at a kick-off event in the Freiheitshalle and in an online participation. In addition, the various departments of the Hof city administration were involved in several rounds. At the same time, the young people of Hof were also involved in this process in special formats. Many ideas were developed at the schools and incorporated into the concept.
Based on all these findings, a target system was developed in a closed meeting with city council members and administrative staff. It contains the strategic development goals of the city of Hof for the coming years. The draft of this target system can also be found on the participation page.
