Intercultural Week 2025

"In favour! - for an open, diverse society"

The city of Hof cordially invites all interested parties to the Intercultural Weeks 2025. Under the motto "For this!" - is this year's leitmotif - celebrating the commitment to an open, diverse society. From 21 September to 11 October 2025, numerous events will offer the opportunity to experience diversity and get to know people.
The Intercultural Weeks in the city of Hof will set an example against discrimination, intolerance and exclusion. The programme includes a wide range of offers such as workshops, excursions and activities for young and old. Almost all events are free of charge and invite people to join in.

"Diversity is the engine of our democracy. It doesn't just need to be tolerated, it needs to be actively shaped," explains Mayor Eva Döhla. "The Intercultural Week creates spaces in which encounters, dialogue and mutual understanding are possible."
The city of Hof has always stood for a society in which people participate equally regardless of their origin, religion or culture. The events offer the opportunity to find out about integration programmes, cultural diversity and joint commitment and to make new contacts.
This year, the start of the Intercultural Weeks in the city of Hof coincides with World Children's Day, which also marks the beginning of the weeks. After all, young people in particular exemplify cohesion and diversity every day - with games, fun and a smile on their faces. And this is exactly the motto of this year's Intercultural Week: For this! - because a smile makes the world a little better! At a stand at the World Children's Day, visitors can find out more about the Intercultural Week and discuss the city of Hof's integration concept.

The Intercultural Weeks 2025 are an invitation to everyone to stand up for an open society based on solidarity - because together Hof is and will remain colourful and worth living in.
