Seniors' Council of the City of Hof
The Seniors' Council is part of the Seniors' Representative Council of the City of Hof. It has 11 members and is made up of socially experienced older people. They are nominated by the welfare organizations, senior citizens' groups, senior citizens' clubs, retirement homes and retirement homes and elected at a delegates' meeting. The term of office of the Seniors' Council is three years.
What are the tasks of the Seniors' Council?
- Represents the interests of senior citizens in Hof
- Contact for the city council, city administration and associations
- participates in planning and measures that affect older citizens
- Represents the interests of senior citizens vis-à-vis the city council and city administration through motions and recommendations
