Hofer Digital Day: Digital together

On June 27, 2025, the Hof Digital Day will take place at the digital start-up center Einstein 1 in Hof.

This event is aimed at people aged 60 and over and their partners. The aim is to make it easier for older people to access the digital world and reduce social isolation. The Hof Digital Day is organized in cooperation with the Volkshochschule (VHS) Hofer Land, the Seniors' Council of the City of Hof and the digital start-up center Einstein 1. "Being digital is not a question of age", says the event flyer. The event offers a varied program that provides participants with valuable information and practical tips for everyday life.

Program

Anne Browa from VHS Hofer Land will provide information about regional online shopping and various payment methods.
The Seniors' Council of the City of Hof will be presenting useful apps, including the "egon - mein VGN eTarif" app for digital tickets and the "easyPark" app, which allows parking fees to be paid conveniently via smartphone.
In addition, free advice and information will be offered as part of "zusammen digital" to provide participants with individual support.
