Digital together - shaping the future together!

At an award ceremony last week, Mayor Eva Döhla presented pupils from the Johann Christian Reinhart High School and trainees from the city of Hof with certificates for their participation in the "digital together" project.

Last year, the city of Hof was one of 16 Bavarian municipalities to receive funding to set up counselling counters for citizens who want to gain and maintain access to the digital world. Due to the success achieved and the positive feedback from the public, the counselling sessions will continue to take place every Wednesday from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm in the foyer of the VHS Hofer Land in Ludwigstraße.

"Without the willingness of the pupils and trainees, this project could not be realised in this way. This social commitment deserves the utmost respect and shows how important it is for the generations to work together in the digital world," said Mayor Eva Döhla, who also praised the cooperation between the City of Hof, the Seniors' Council and those responsible at the Johann Christian Reinhart Gymnasium. In addition to the certificates of participation, the participants also received a Hof-Geld voucher in recognition of their help.
