Veterinary office and consumer protection

These are our tasks

Healthy animals are the prerequisite for producing food that is safe for human health. In order to protect consumers from health hazards caused by food or infectious animal diseases, we monitor the conditions under which animals are kept on the one hand and the subsequent slaughter, processing and marketing stages on the other.

Our tasks in the area of consumer protection are shaped by the demands of a modern society on foodstuffs and luxury foods.
