JugendKunstTriennale 2021

10.12.2021 - 06.01.2022

Works by the award winners and participants from Hof

In 1995, the cities of Chemnitz, Zwickau, Plauen, Hof and Bayreuth came together across the borders of Bavaria and Saxony to form the Saxon-Bavarian network of cities, later joined by Marktredwitz.

The city network partners see their voluntary cooperation as a suitable approach to meeting the challenges of our time through an intensive exchange of experience, continuous information and the development of joint strategies.A strong alliance of the city network partners should help to compete with other centers and strengthen awareness as an independent living and economic area. The Saxon-Bavarian city network builds on historical similarities between the participating regions and thus offers the opportunity to build promising relationships on all sides.

Since 1998, the YouthArtTriennial of the Saxon-Bavarian Cities Network has been an offer from the cities of Bayreuth, Hof, Plauen, Zwickau and Chemnitz for young people to get involved in the visual arts. This year, Marktredwitz is also taking part for the first time. In summer 2021, the exhibition took place in the Max-Pechstein-Museum of the Zwickau Art Collections. We would also like to present the works of the award winners and the exhibited works from Hof to the Hof public.
