Equality concerns men and women
Equality between women and men is enshrined in the German Basic Law. The Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Hof supports the implementation of this principle within the city administration and, where possible, beyond. She is also the contact person for problems or suggestions and carries out public relations work.
Gender equality concept
As a local authority, the City of Hof is obliged under the Bavarian Equal Opportunities Act (BayGIG) to draw up an equality concept. This describes the current status and defines goals and measures for the coming years.
