Disability living
Diverse offers
Living is a basic human need. In one's own home, one can withdraw, develop and recover. For people with disabilities in particular, the living area is often of central importance. It is a decisive basis for the quality of life. People with disabilities, like other people, would like to live self-determined lives in individual, community-integrated living arrangements as independently and autonomously as possible. Inpatient offers should also comply with these principles. In Hof, these people are offered a variety of housing options, such as residential home groups & outpatient assisted living groups for adult, disabled people.

Geo Fisher Foundation
Support for mentally or physically disabled children
The foundation serves to support mentally or physically handicapped children living in the city of Hof. It provides grants to associations that are dedicated to the care of physically or mentally handicapped children in accordance with their statutes. In individual cases, treatment or care measures, including in-patient treatment, necessary transport costs and the procurement of necessary treatment equipment and aids, can be fully or partially financed. The application for funding for children and young people up to a maximum age of 18 years with residence in the city of Hof can be submitted throughout the year. However, a decision on the distribution of funds is made on March 31 of the year and possibly again on September 30 if foundation funds are still available. The application must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian.
