Accompanying learning
The vocational school comprises grades 10 to 12 or 10 to 13 and provides general education as well as theoretical vocational knowledge in the dual system. The vocational school is part of the so-called dual vocational training system. Together with the dual partner, the company, it leads to a vocational qualification. The primary task of the vocational school is to impart theoretical knowledge for the respective occupation. Instruction also includes German, social studies, religious education, physical education (in part) and foreign languages (in part). In addition, elective subjects such as English and data processing are also offered.
Young people WITHOUT a training relationship can attend a vocational preparation year. In one year of full-time instruction, they are prepared for vocational training or a job.
