Classrooms at the Neustadt school earmarked for the Münster school

In consultation with the State Education Authority, the City of Hof and Neustadt Primary School, Münster Middle School has decided on two rooms at Neustadt School as an interim solution for the coming school year.

This is the former room of the open all-day school (OGTS) and the former remedial teacher's room. According to the state education authority, the use is still subject to approval by the government of Upper Franconia.

Mayor Eva Döhla: "We are on schedule, preparations are underway - the next school year can begin. The city of Hof is ensuring that all pupils have appropriate learning conditions. We are working on viable solutions, both in the short and long term."

In the coming weeks, the city of Hof will work closely with the departments involved to push ahead with furnishing the two rooms. Tables and chairs are already available. The digital equipment - in particular whiteboards, projectors and other educational media elements - is currently being planned and adapted. Necessary painting work is also still outstanding. The aim is to have the rooms ready for occupancy in time for the start of the 2025/26 school year.
