Inclusive Bambini soccer tournament

on May 20 at the Ossecker Stadium

In cooperation with Lebenshilfe Hof and Special Olympics Bavaria, an inclusive Bambini soccer tournament will take place on May 20, 2025 in the Ossecker Stadium. Participants will include pupils from the 3rd and 4th grades of Hof elementary school and special schools from the city and district of Hof.

A total of around 130 football-loving children will not only have fun playing sport on this day, but will also gain experience in the field of inclusion. Kick-off is at 9 a.m. after a short welcome by Jörg Herzig, head of the Schule am Lindenbühl, and Max Kühnreich, athlete spokesperson for Special Olympics Bavaria. A total of 13 teams from ten schools will compete against each other in the Swiss system; this promises to be exciting, as the teams do not know in advance which opponent awaits them and the schedule is determined by the results of the respective games. At 12 noon, the winners will be honored by Mayor Eva Döhla.

The event is supported by the Lions Club, Meinel Bräu, Bäckerei Graf, the dm drugstore, dennree and Izmir Markt.
