Realschule
On the way to the middle school leaving certificate
The Realschule comprises grades 5 to 10 and provides a general and vocational education. The lessons at the Realschulen are also practice-oriented and students can already choose the elective areas of science, language, social work, mathematics, science and technology. The preparation for the choice of a profession is also a topic that is dealt with in various subjects, some of which are interdisciplinary. After graduation, students have the opportunity to begin vocational training or to earn their Abitur at a secondary school.
