The Bavarian letters to parents

Further information for parents

The Bavarian Youth Welfare Office supports parents from birth with 48 letters for parents to accompany the first 18 years of their child's life with calm, joy and growing security. The letters inform parents about their child's development from 0 to 18 years and answer a wide range of relevant questions.

In addition to the 48 letters to parents, the Parents' Letter Extra "Day nursery guidelines" has been developed to help parents decide whether and when to place their child in a day nursery.

If you would like to receive the letters to parents according to your child's age, you can subscribe to the newsletter.

The parents' guide from the Bavarian State Youth Welfare Office

Raising children is a multifaceted, responsible task. The first questions arise during pregnancy and of course even more so when the baby arrives. Later on, too, there will always be situations in which you may not know what to do.

You can find answers on the pages of the Bavarian Parenting Guide, the parenting guide for parents on the Internet, which is provided by the Bavarian Youth Welfare Office.
