Direct award of city bus transport services
Supplementary document to the preliminary announcement of the direct award of a public service contract for transport services in the city of Hof
The City of Hof is the public transport authority in its area of responsibility in accordance with Art. 8 Para. 1 BayÖPNVG and, in accordance with Art. 8 Para. 3 BayÖPNVG, is also the competent authority within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2007 (Regulation 1370).
By resolution dated June 2, 2025, the City of Hof decided to award HofBus GmbH the provision of public services from January 1, 2027 by way of a direct award of a public service contract in accordance with Art. 5 Para. 1 Regulation 1370 in conjunction with Section 108 GWB. § Section 108 GWB with the provision of urban transport. To this end, it has published a preliminary notice in the Official Journal of the European Union in accordance with Art. 7 (2) Regulation 1370, which refers, among other things, to the “Supplementary Document” available here. The details of the (minimum) requirements for the timetable, transport charges and standards of the planned direct award can be found in this “Supplementary Document” to the preliminary notice.
