Saaleauenfestival 2025
The countdown is on: When the picturesque Saale floodplains below Hof's old town are transformed into a vibrant festival site from 7 to 10 August 2025, it will once again be pure music, beats and joie de vivre!
Grand opening of the DJ area on Thursday with André Schnura
The starting signal will be given on Thursday evening with the official opening of the brand new DJ area on the former Awalla site - on this day, the area will only be accessible via the new entrance in Fabrikzeile. There, André Schnura & DJ MOKABY (presented by Inszenium) will provide an energetic warm-up together with Ravers Nature.
André Schnura, known as "the guy with the saxophone", achieved great fame during the 2024 European Football Championship. With his retro jersey, black sunglasses and saxophone, he created an exuberant atmosphere in the fan zones. After his surprising success, he played at Wacken Open Air, Parookaville and Open Beatz with artists such as Timmy Trumpet.
Kamrad & other headliners heat things up
On Friday and Saturday, well-known headliners will provide the atmosphere - including Kamrad, whose current single "Be Mine" peaked at #9 in the official German single charts.
Kamrad will be joined on stage by acts such as Moop Mama x Älice, The Heimatdamisch, Wankelmut (presented by VR Bank Bayreuth-Hof eG), Agatino Romero, Greta, Jasmin Blust, Liquidfive (presented by MBS), Nena Polap and Isabelle Beaucamp. The result is an exciting mix of rap, pop, folk music, electronic sounds and party beats.
Another highlight of the festival this year is Paul Kowol and The Riot Robots. Paul Kowol recently wowed audiences as Adel Tawil's support act at the Tollwood Festival in Munich and will now enchant the Hof audience with his soulful songs. The Riot Robots from Kronach, newly crowned "Upper Franconia's Band of the Year 2025" as part of the R.I.O.! club tour, will open the festival on Friday with their energetic punk rock.
More space, more technology, more atmosphere
The entire site has been expanded: New, larger stages with improved lighting and sound technology ensure optimal concert moments. During the day and on Sunday, the free area invites you to sit and relax on the banks of the Saale. Another new feature is the entrance via Fabrikzeile - on Thursday, the festival site can only be accessed via this entrance. To ensure that both areas (main stage and DJ area) can be reached easily, safely and without detours, a bridge will also be built over the Saale.
Strong partners for enjoyment, service & atmosphere
The festival will be catered for by the experienced Red Roaster team. From beer and bratwurst to smashed burgers, pasta, ice cream and waffles, there is something for every taste. The main drinks partner is the Scherdel brewery, while Edeka Bergler supports the backstage area. The festival will be covered by Radio Euroherz, the official media partner.

Sunday is family day
Sunday will be particularly family-friendly: the free family day will feature a colourful hands-on programme - a music tournament, puppeteer, pirate party, play mobile, Zumba workshop (also on Saturday) and even more activities for young and old. You can also get a souvenir for eternity at the Casual Event Tattoo stand on all festival days - whether it's a festival motif or a personalised tattoo, it can be done spontaneously and directly on site.
Celebrate safely and sustainably
Children up to the age of 15 enjoy free admission. At the same time, a well thought-out, comprehensive security concept - including access controls, professional security staff, effective surveillance and clear evacuation and emergency plans - ensures that all visitors feel safe and protected. Sustainability is also a central part of the festival: waste separation, returnable deposit cups and environmentally friendly catering are all part of the concept.
