Dog tax

Pets accompany the lives of many people. For a conflict-free coexistence, the city of Hof reminds dog owners of their duties. This includes the regulations on the leash obligation as well as the collection and reliable disposal of your dog's waste. As a dog owner, you are also obliged to pay a municipal tax, the so-called dog tax, for your dog from the age of four months. In Hof, this currently amounts to 75 euros per dog, if there is no tax reduction or exemption. The tax is due on March 15 of each year.
