Working together for clean and safe playgrounds
In recent weeks, there have been an increasing number of reports of littering and damage to various children's playgrounds in Hof. Of particular concern are the discovery of human or animal waste on or in playground equipment, discarded cigarette butts and broken glass bottles. All of this poses a considerable danger to children at play. In addition, playground equipment has had to be dismantled several times recently due to damage caused by people or animals.
Hof's playgrounds are regularly inspected by the building yard, usually several times a week. However, the city of Hof would like to emphasise once again that all rubbish must be disposed of properly and that dogs must always be kept on a lead in children's playgrounds. In addition, dog owners are obliged to clean up after their dogs in public areas.
Please help us to treat the municipal playgrounds with care and show consideration for the children. "Only with joint care and attention can we ensure that children in Hof can continue to play safely, carefree and with lots of fun," says Pascal Najuch-Schödel, Head of Municipal Youth Work in Hof.
Damage or danger spots on playgrounds can be easily reported at any time via the City of Hof's citizen reporting system.
