Successful public participation in the integration concept

Committed citizens have contributed their ideas and suggestions.

On March 19, 2025, a public participation event was held on the premises of Evangelische Jugendsozialarbeit Hof e.V. (EJSA) to update the city of Hof's integration concept. Around 20 committed citizens took the opportunity to contribute their ideas and suggestions. The constructive discussions and productive interaction underlined the importance of the exchange.

Kevin Fischer, Integration Officer of the City of Hof: "Numerous concerns and ideas were recorded, which are now being incorporated into the concept development. We are delighted with the results we received and are planning further opportunities to actively involve the people of Hof in the process of updating the integration concept." The city of Hof would like to thank all participants for their commitment and EJSA e.V. for providing the premises.

The integration concept of the city of Hof serves as a dynamic instrument to be able to react flexibly to social changes. It is part of the city's social strategy and forms a bridge to the overall senior citizens' policy concept and sports development planning. The concept is currently being updated, with a focus on participation and exchange. The existing concept is being analyzed and new needs are being developed in expert panels on topics such as language, education, housing and coexistence. Volunteers and full-time staff are involved in this open dialog in order to report on their practical experience and to contribute different perspectives to the concept development process.

Further information on the current status of the updated integration concept can be found here.
