School center at Rosenbühl

In the long term, the school center at Rosenbühl is to be developed into an attractive educational facility with a modern teaching and learning environment.

The school center at Rosenbühl consists of several components (grammar school, secondary school, sports center with gymnasiums and indoor swimming pool), which were built in different construction phases between 1972 and around 1981. Due to the construction period of the school center and taking into account the deficiencies and deficits identified with regard to the building structure (statics, fire protection, pollution, accessibility, building technology, room structure, thermal insulation), a renovation or new construction of the grammar school and secondary school should be considered. The sports center with gymnasiums and indoor swimming pool should be preserved as part of a renovation. Furthermore, the outdoor facilities are to be adapted to the new requirements, in particular accessibility, in the event of renovation/new construction.
