Additional date special city tour Hof - hard and hearty at the border

City tour and concert on the Day of German Unity

Due to the celebrations surrounding 3 October 2025, the city of Hof's tourist information office has organised a special city tour.
The first date of the special tour "Hof - hart und herzlich an der Grenze" at 4 pm is already fully booked. Due to the high demand, another date will be offered on the same day at 2 pm.

Our tour guide will take participants on an exciting tour: payment points for welcome money, Trabiflut, banana stories and "milk tears", dark clouds of smoke from the two-stroke engines hanging over the city...
The tour is free of charge.

On the evening of German Unity Day, an extraordinary musical experience awaits you that you should not miss: "DRÜBEN" - a project by the Dresden Symphony Orchestra in cooperation with the Foundation Places of German Democratic History, at 19:30 in the Freiheitshalle Hof.

Tickets are available at kurzlinks.de/drueben and at the usual advance booking offices.
