Renovation and expansion of the Ossecker Stadium

In addition to the thermal improvement of the building envelope, the technical systems were also refurbished.

The Ossecker Stadium was built in 1980 and 1981. The associated building wing is divided into an elongated building section with the operating rooms (changing rooms, shower rooms, storage rooms for outdoor equipment) and a multi-storey building section, which houses the changing rooms for sports instructors, toilet facilities, technical rooms, a groundsman's apartment, event rooms and a control room for outdoor sports events. The stadium has also been used for school purposes since the beginning.

Both the technical systems installed in 1981 and the building shell were worn out and no longer met today's technical standards. With the implementation of the energy-efficient refurbishment in the operating rooms in 2017/18, the technical systems were also sensibly refurbished in addition to the thermal improvement of the building envelope.

The result of the refurbishment now guarantees the provision of the facilities required by the school for a longer period of time and also continues to have an extremely important function for the club and leisure sports facilities for the city of Hof.
