New sanitary facilities at the cemetery

The new toilet facility is located directly on the forecourt of the chapel and is therefore clearly visible and easily accessible for visitors. It includes a disabled toilet, two further toilets and a changing table and is equipped with a modern ventilation system. The city of Hof has invested around 200,000 euros in the new toilet facilities in the cemetery administration building.

"This measure was urgently needed. I am delighted that we can now offer visitors to the cemetery modern sanitary facilities. We have eliminated a real problem here," says Mayor Eva Döhla.

Due to the poor condition of the old toilet facility, it was decided not to renovate it, but to create a completely new and barrier-free sanitary facility in a room in the administration building that was previously used for storage.

Following the investments in the new toilet on the platform and the toilet facility at Oberer Torplatz, this is the third new public toilet facility to be built by the city of Hof in just four years.

With the installation of the new sanitary facilities at this location, the conditions were also created to renovate and expand the changing rooms for the building yard employees working at the cemetery. The new changing rooms are to be directly adjacent to the toilet facilities.
