Information event on municipal heat planning

Interested Hof residents are invited to Hof University of Applied Sciences on June 3, 2025.

How can the citizens of Hof be supplied with heat in a climate-friendly and efficient way in the future? What options are there in the individual districts and what steps are necessary on the way to a future-proof heat supply? These and other questions are the focus of the information event on municipal heat planning, to which the city of Hof cordially invites all interested citizens.

When? Tuesday, June 3, 2025, 6:00 p.m.

Where? Hof University of Applied Sciences, Alfons-Goppel-Platz 1, Building B, Lecture Hall B 023

As part of the municipal heating plan, the local conditions have been analyzed in detail over the past few months. The planning is based on the systematic collection of all relevant data on the current heat structure in Hof - both in residential and commercial areas. The aim is to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for the future heat supply on this basis.

The event on June 3 is divided into two sections. Firstly, the central content of municipal heat planning will be presented - for example, the current supply situation, possible energy sources and prospects for individual areas of the city. This will be followed by a discussion round in which participants will be able to talk to experts at various themed tables.

The planning office, the city administration, Stadtwerke Hof and energy consultants from the consumer advice center will be represented. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask their questions directly, contribute ideas and actively participate in the planning process.
