Discovery tours through the museum

Museum creative

For all those who would like to discover the Museum Bayerisches Vogtland in a new and creative way, we offer educational activities based on the contents of the permanent and special exhibitions. Thereby we make selected museum objects multifaceted and comprehensible with all senses. The individual activities offer plenty of room for your own ideas: In addition to interesting facts, the focus is on creativity, dexterity, joy of discovery and curiosity. From handicrafts such as printing, making copper lights or making your own paper, to exciting city history and cultural history such as "School like 100 years ago", to natural history topics - for example about water, the forest or birds and butterflies - there is plenty to learn and try out for yourself.

Whether you are looking for an extracurricular activity for your students, or want to make a class reunion or a children's birthday party extraordinary - you are sure to find the right thing for you in our museum educational program. We will be happy to tailor the content to your individual wishes.

On one Saturday each month, we offer the "Discoverers on the Move" activity for children aged 5 or 6 and older at 11 a.m. on changing topics. Children's activities also take place in the museum during the Easter and summer vacations. If you would like to participate, please register in advance by e-mail or telephone. For further information and questions about the program, please contact our staff at 09281 / 815 - 2700.
