Reading is fun, educates, enriches life. As a public library, our mission is not only to make the cultural asset of books accessible to all citizens, but also to cultivate and maintain the culture of reading. We also see ourselves as a cultural venue where knowledge and information are conveyed through readings, events and exhibitions. And last but not least, we are a resting place where young and old, big and small can feel comfortable and immerse themselves in the world of reading.

The Friends of Hof Public Library contribute with donations and initiatives to ensure that our library continues to be an attractive place for reading and learning. For example, in its toddler group "Bücherbabies" (Book Babies), the Friends take care of the basics of reading and language development for the very young.
