In order to define the uniqueness of the Hofer Land region more precisely, to determine its basis and to formulate components, forces have been pooled over the past few months, a great deal of enquiry, evaluation and development has taken place in order to rediscover our region and create a sustainable image.

In cooperation with an agency, important foundations for the project were first laid. For example, various people from the region were consulted in stakeholder interviews. We were asked what we stand for, what strengths we see in ourselves and which target groups we would like to address and inspire in the future. The key elements identified were the Hofer Land region as a place to live with its high quality of life and diversity, the Hofer Land community with its creative and development opportunities and the cultural freshness of the Hofer Land region - the combination of experiencing culture, fresh enjoyment and decelerating nature.

The aim is to make the region particularly attractive for young families, committed skilled workers, innovative start-ups and future-oriented companies.

"Our region is unique in so many ways. This can now become even more visible, tangible and tangible. The Hofer Land campaign stands for enthusiasm, for quality of life and shows how the city and district are looking to the future together," says Hof's Lord Mayor Eva Döhla.

The Hofer Land brand should stand out from the familiar. It should arouse interest, be modern and future-oriented and at the same time create a new feeling - a feeling for our homeland, for the town and country, for the people here and for those who are our future.

All of this is combined not least in the logo and the associated claim, which was designed by the Hofer Land team and employees of the district administration office, i.e. by people from here.

The stacked lettering symbolizes structural development and a vision for newly created things. The word division reinforces the individual social parts, which are intended to stand for togetherness and togetherness.

A classic, modern and clear font was chosen for the word/image mark.

The eye-catcher of the logo is the HO in modern signal yellow - or "Sempftgelb". Known as a car license plate for the city and district, it also reinforces the colloquial and thoroughly cordial "HO".

HO is intended to reinforce the yes: Yes to the region. Yes to courage, vision and determination.

The logo is complemented by imagery that reflects the duality of the city and district as well as the diversity that is united in the region - be it through culture, nature, sport or business.

The future

The aim of the image project is to represent the Hofer Land region together. The city and district, but more importantly, all citizens should be actively involved as part of the Hofer Land region. In a first step, for example, as part of the join-in campaign "1,000 faces for the Hofer Land".

"Here, every individual can give their face to the Hofer Land region," explains Nadine Michael from the Hofer Land project team. "It's really easy to take part: take a photo or selfie, upload it via QR code, send it off - done! All the uploaded pictures should add up to a large HO with which we want to say HO - yes - to Hofer Land."

Hofer Land is now also present on various online channels. At www.hofer-land.bayern you can already find initial information about the project. The site will be expanded step by step and filled with information, promotions and insider tips.

In the social media area, you can follow Hofer Land on both Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date, but you can also share your best Hofer Land experiences with others and tag your pictures with the hashtag #hoferland or @hofer.land.

In addition, companies, organizations, clubs, associations, etc. can and should also use the logo and thus act as multipliers for the Hofer Land. Whether by embedding the logo on homepages, email signatures or simply on letterheads - there are many ways to increase awareness of Hofer Land.

Numerous merchandise items in the Hofer Land look are set to find their way into the world in future.
