Municipal support programs

Beautification, enhancement, revitalization

Municipalities can set up their own funding programs in renewal areas to simplify the funding of smaller private measures. The city of Hof has now issued three guidelines for this purpose, which can be used, for example, to subsidize facade repairs, courtyard greening or upgrading of commercial space.

Subject to the allocation of subsidies by the government of Upper Franconia and subject to the approval of the municipal budget, subsidies can be granted to applicants willing to build after the guidelines come into force on May 1, 2021.

The application for funding must be submitted after consultation with the respective contact person and before the start of the work. Funding is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no legal entitlement to funding.

In our overview map you will find the redevelopment areas and urban redevelopment areas in which the guidelines apply.
