Sewer construction work on Goethestrasse

From Tuesday, June 10, 2025, sewer construction work will begin in Goethestraße (corner of Schützenstraße), which will require a full closure. This will affect the upper section of Goethestraße between Münch-Ferber-Straße and the junction with Schützenstraße. In the lower section of Goethestrasse, the one-way traffic regulation will be lifted during the period of the full closure.

The construction work is being carried out by the company AS-Bau. As a result of the work, all parking spaces along the upper Goethestrasse will be removed in the affected area. Traffic obstructions are also to be expected in Schützenstrasse, as the lane will be narrowed at the junction with Goethestrasse.

The full closure of Goethestrasse is initially planned for a period of around three weeks. Following this, there will be further restrictions in Schützenstrasse, as further sewer work will take place in the area of the student residence currently under construction. Road users are asked to avoid the roadworks area if possible and to follow the signposted detour.
