Senior trips 2025

This year's trips for senior citizens in Hof will take you to Seehof Castle for lunch at Giechburg Castle and to Pöhl Dam for a boat trip.

The trips will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 (Pöhl Dam), Thursday, May 22, 2025 (Seehof Castle), and Tuesday, July 1, 2025 (Pöhl Dam), each from 10:00 am to approx. 5:15 pm.

The trip to Seehof Castle is aimed at people who are able to walk well, as it is a 10 to 15-minute walk to Giechburg Castle. For people with limited mobility, the senior citizens' representative of the city of Hof recommends the trip to the Pöhl dam.

The trips cost 23.00 euros per person and are for Hof residents aged 60 and over. The price is reduced by 30% (16.10 euros) for holders of volunteer cards and by 50% (11.50 euros) for recipients of basic income support.

Drinks at lunch as well as coffee and cake must be paid for by the participants themselves.

Registration

The trips will go on sale from April 7, 2025 from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

No reservations for the senior trips will be accepted before April 7. Registration is only possible by telephone or on site from April 7 in order to accommodate all interested parties.
