Senior Cinema 2025
The "Senior Cinema" experiment, launched by the Hof Seniors' Council, has proved to be a great success and is now being continued. It not only offers a successful selection of films, but also a very special experience: at the beginning of the screening, visitors can treat themselves to a coffee and a croissant. This relaxed atmosphere invites you to chat and enjoy the afternoon in a convivial atmosphere. In addition, the members of the Seniors' Council of the City of Hof are available to talk to during the cinema afternoons.

Admission is 8 euros including coffee and croissant. Admission is from 1.30 pm, the movie starts at 2.30 pm.

Highlight for senior citizens
The event is organized by the Central-Kino in Hof, the Seniors' Council of the City of Hof and the City of Hof. The Hof Hospital Foundation and Sparkasse Hochfranken support the project.
Since September 2024, movie afternoons for senior citizens have been held once a month at Central-Kino Hof. While 50 visitors came to the cinema in September, the organizers were delighted to welcome 170 enthusiastic viewers in December. Siegfried Erhardt, Chairman of the Senior Citizens' Council, is more than satisfied: "The senior citizens' cinema is a special highlight for senior citizens in the region."
