Second Trixi mirror installed in Hof

This will defuse the intersection situation at the corner of Ludwigstraße and Graben.

The Trixi mirror is a convex mirror in which motorized road users can see themselves and, thanks to a field of vision of approx. 100 degrees, also people, cyclists, baby carriages or wheelchairs next to or in front of their vehicle. A corresponding mirror has now been installed at the junction of Ludwigstraße and Graben. A second Trixi mirror has been installed at the corner of Königstraße and Pfarrstraße.

Alexander Cruz from the ADFC often observed dangerous crossing situations at the corner of Graben from his store in Ludwigstraße and approached his colleagues at the ADFC. The ADFC raised the issue at the city of Hof's annual cycling review with representatives of cyclists. The installation thus became a wish of the Green parliamentary group, who financed the mirror. The city of Hof covered the installation costs.

Mayor Sebastian Auer welcomes the installation with an appeal: "All citizens who see such danger spots are welcome to contact us, the city councillors, but also the city of Hof."
