Saaleauenfest 2024
Over 1,000 tickets had already been sold in advance and guests from all over the German-speaking world secured their tickets in advance. Doctor Victor, a non-German-speaking artist from Prague, performed for the first time this year, bringing his Czech fan audience with him.
With around 8,000 guests over the entire weekend, organizer Carsten Reichel from Stadtmarketing Hof looks back positively on the three days: "We want to use this event to promote Hof to the outside world and show what our region has to offer. The ticket sales show that we have succeeded in this."
"The musical program of the Saaleauenfest is diverse and top-class," Carsten Reichel continues. From Kellerkommando from Bamberg and international DJ Nils Van Gogh, who has already performed at Tomorrowland, to Oimara, the Music of Queen Live and the main act on Saturday evening, Josh from Vienna, the line-up offered something for every taste. Newcomers such as Sector 5 from Berlin and the special act Music of Greenlife were also part of the program. "Bands are now approaching us to perform at the Saaleauenfest. Word has gotten around in the artist scene about the familiar atmosphere and the good cooperation," reports Carsten Reichel.
For the first time this year, there were after-show parties on Friday and Saturday at Club aber Herzlich and VaVa, which rounded off the festival experience. Another innovation was the two side stages on the main stage, which ensured smoother processes and offered the artists more space. The laser show on the Beach Stage also took place for the first time.
The new festival concept has also changed the gastronomic offer. Regional and local providers provided the culinary delights. "The concept will be further refined in the future," says Reichel.
Security was not neglected either. A professional security service and bag checks ensured a safe festival. For the first time, there was also an awareness team from the Queer-Life Hof association and victim support directly on site.
On Sunday, the Saaleauenfest offered lots of activities for families and children with free admission. Mr. Jan rounded off the colourful children's program with music.
Carsten Reichel, Managing Director of the City Marketing Association, thanked all supporters: "Thanks to our numerous sponsors, we are able to put on such a first-class festival."
