Repair of the dam bridge at Lake Untreusee

Next week, probably from Tuesday, 15 July 2025, the city of Hof will begin repair work on the railings of the dam bridge at Untreusee. The measures are necessary to ensure the safety of the bridge.

The work will take around two weeks and will be carried out on one side of the railings at a time. During the construction period, the bridge structure must be closed to cycle traffic for reasons of road safety. During this time, the bridge can only be crossed on foot. Cyclists are requested to dismount and push their bikes in this area, as the remaining width is not sufficient for cycling.
