Removal of the playgrounds at Untreusee and Bismarck Tower

New play equipment will be installed in 2025.

The dismantling of the two popular large playgrounds at Untreusee and Bismarck Tower is imminent. As part of the planned renovations, the old play equipment will be removed from the Untreusee children's playground from Monday, November 4. Work on the Bismarck Tower playground will begin immediately afterwards, probably a week later. From the start of the work, the respective playground equipment will be closed.

Visitors who would like to enjoy the "old" play equipment one last time will have the opportunity to do so in the coming days. Individual facilities, in particular the toddler play equipment at the Bismarck Tower, will remain accessible during the work. In exceptional cases, there may also be temporary restrictions to ensure safety.

Once the old play equipment has been dismantled, the site will be prepared for the new play facilities. Depending on the weather, the installation of the new play equipment is planned for the spring of next year. The city of Hof is looking forward to being able to offer families in the region attractive and modern play facilities again soon.
