Media-mobile makes a stop in Hof

The Bezirksjugendring Oberfranken informs:
What is the Medien-mobil? The Medien-mobil! is an innovative project of the media advisory service of the Bezirksjugendring Oberfranken. Two media educators, Andreas Lederer and Max Körner, visit a youth center in an Upper Franconian district with a car packed full of exciting media and workshops. The aim is to make media projects accessible to financially weaker participants and in rural areas. Local project partners are the respective city or district youth association as well as local youth work associations and organizations.
How does the day work? The day begins with a closed lecture from 10 am to 1 pm. Here, youth work employees can (after registration) receive further training on a specific topic. The offer is discussed in advance with the media advisory service. For example, training courses on active media work with children and young people, workshops on AI applications or presentations on data protection on the web are possible. In the afternoon, the offer is open to everyone. Interested people of all ages can come along to try out six exciting media stations.
What can participants expect in the afternoon? The afternoon media circle (1 to 5 p.m.) consists of six interactive media offers that can be used without prior knowledge. At some stations, the media advisory service will guide the participants, at others, tutorials have been prepared for independent use.
The offers at a glance:
- Digital DIY: Develop your own gaming controller with the help of MakeyMakey.
- Crack the code: You want to program? Easily create your own animations and games with Scratch!
- It's all about 360: Produce spherical videos or create your own VR tour with a 360° camera.
- Print the world: Design your own models with TinkerCAD and print them with the Silhouette Alta 3D.
- Visual Novel: Explore AI tools and bring your own stories to life.
- Gaming with Bloxels: Use BLOXELS to puzzle a gaming landscape out of small cubes according to your ideas.
