Max-Reger-/ Mozartstraße sewer replacement

On behalf of the city of Hof, the company AS-Bau Hof GmbH will begin with the renewal of the sewer in Mozartstraße and Max-Reger-Straße on 27 August 2025. The work will be carried out in three sections.

Section 1 concerns the sewer renewal at the junction of Max-Reger-Straße and Mozartstraße. The junction will have to be completely closed during the construction work.

Section 2 stretches along Max-Reger-Straße from the junction of Max-Reger-Straße/Mozartstraße to the junction of Albert-Lortzing-Straße. The estuary areas will remain open during the construction phase.

Section 3 concerns Mozartstraße from Anton-Bruckner-Straße to the junction with Max-Reger-Straße.

During the works, the affected sections will be closed to through traffic. The pavements will remain usable.

Residents will be able to access their properties and garages as far as construction progress allows. However, temporary obstructions are to be expected in the area of the current construction site.

Diversions will be signposted. Residents of the affected road sections will be informed by separate letter.

The junction of Mozartstraße and Max-Reger-Straße will be open to traffic again at the start of the new school year on 16 September 2025. With the start of the closure of Mozartstraße from Anton-Bruckner-Straße to the junction with Max-Reger-Straße,

school buses will be diverted to the school centre via Ossecker Straße and Max-Reger-Straße. Hof-Bus GmbH will publish a separate press release about this.
