Hof Autumn Market on 27 & 28 September

HofHaltig transforms city centre into a lively meeting place

On 27 and 28 September, Hof city centre will once again be transformed into a lively meeting place for regionality and sustainability. Under the name HofHaltig - a play on the words Hof and sustainable - visitors can expect a multifaceted programme with regional products, environmentally friendly goods, a wide range of services and information stands on climate protection and conscious consumption. Hof's retail trade will also be an integral part of the weekend, especially on Sunday 28 September when the shops are open.

A cosy beer garden, live performances by the band Fuckleberry, a street flea market and exciting talks will ensure a great atmosphere and entertainment. For children, there will be creative hands-on activities on the topic of sustainability and a special highlight: Julian Janssen, known as "Checker Julian", will delight young visitors at the Central Kino Hof (Saturday, 27 September, 14:00 and Sunday, 28 September, 12:30). Thus, the name HofHaltig is also a spark of HOFfnung: playful and entertaining, the weekend encourages a conscious use of resources.

New in 2025: Lorenzstraße and Lorenzpark

This year, HofHaltig will not only extend to the Old Town, but also to Lorenzstraße and Lorenzpark, in order to draw more attention to this special corner of Hof. Sunday shopping will continue to take place as usual throughout the city centre.

In Lorenzpark, everything will revolve around "water-environment-climate": the climate protection management of the city of Hof, the Kompetenznetzwerk Wasser und Energie e.V. and the Hof University of Applied Sciences (Institute for Sustainable Water Systems) will be providing information on this important topic at stands. Short presentations in the community centre of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of St. Lorenz complete the programme. On 27 September, Kirche Kunterbunt Hof invites families with children up to the age of 12 to a colourful hands-on time in the afternoon.

A varied supporting programme makes HofHaltig 2025 a festival for the whole family.
