Hof Volksfest 2025: "Do triffst fei alla!"
From 25 July to 3 August 2025, the Volksfestplatz on Nailaer Straße will once again be transformed into a place for encounters, enjoyment and socialising. Under the motto "Do triffst fei alla!", visitors can expect the usual varied and family-friendly programme - with a mix of tradition, music, culinary specialities and spectacular rides.
Friendship beyond the city limits
This year, the town of Hof is particularly looking forward to welcoming visitors from its neighbouring towns of Hof am Leithaberge, Hof bei Salzburg and Hof im Westerwald. Hof near Salzburg will be travelling with a 66-piece band - the Trachtenmusikanten, who will not only accompany the parade with music, but will also create a real Austrian festival atmosphere at the folk festival.
A delegation from the US twin town of Ogden is also expected at the Hof Volksfest. The international visit emphasises the importance of the Volksfest as a meeting place across national and continental borders. Ogden and Hof have been twinned since 1954.

Supporting programme with new and proven highlights
As usual, the festivities will kick off on Friday, 25 July with the grand parade through the city centre followed by the beer tapping by Mayor Eva Döhla. On the opening Saturday, fireworks will light up the sky over Hof for the first time in a long break. The marquee church service will take place on Sunday, 27 July at 11:30 a.m. and has been a fixed part of the programme for years. On Monday, the Hospital Foundation's Intergenerational Afternoon invites young and old to meet up - with reduced prices and a musical programme. Family Wednesday (30 July) once again offers greatly reduced prices on rides and stands in 2025. Thursday is traditionally the day for companies to celebrate together. The grand finale of the week is the big fireworks display on Friday evening (1 August).
