General renovation of the state technical and vocational high school

The missing specialist classrooms for the vocational secondary school and technical college in Hof as well as modern classrooms will be created.

The school building on Schloßplatz was built in two phases. The old building (component A) was commissioned as a trade school in 1855/56. In 1878, the extension was added as component B.

The general refurbishment of the school building is intended to create the specialist classrooms that are missing for the Berufliche Oberschule and Fachoberschule Hof as well as contemporary classrooms. The building will also be made barrier-free.

In the further course of the second and third construction phases, the necessary break hall is to be set up in the immediate vicinity in the former gymnasium on Longoliusplatz due to the lack of space in the school building on Schloßplatz.

Start of construction: fall 2017
