Frieda Schüllner celebrates her 103rd birthday

Frieda Schüllner was able to celebrate a rare anniversary this week: her 103rd birthday. To convey the city of Hof's congratulations on this very special day, Mayor Angela Bier visited the jubilarian in person at the BRK retirement home.

Frieda Schüllner was born in Gdansk and then came to Hof. She worked with joy and dedication as an accountant until well into old age. To stay mentally fit, she joined the Hof Bridge Club and bridge became her hobby. Reading was also one of her great passions, as were cooking and baking.

In general, she is a cheerful and funny woman who still loves to laugh at the age of 103. She has three children and four grandchildren.
