Free admission to the museum and free Sunday tour in July

As always, admission to the museum and the Reinhart Cabinet is free on the first Sunday of the month - the Hermann and Bertl Müller Foundation covers the costs of the museum visit.

There is also a free Sunday guided tour at 2 pm. This time, Dorit Pohl from KulturKreis Hof e.V. will guide you through the newly opened Reinhart Cabinet in the museum and show fascinating perspectives on the life and work of the artist Johann Christian Reinhart (1761-1847) from Hof. Reinhart had a lasting impact on the history of art and culture and clearly shaped the visual world of his generation.

The Cabinet presents previously unseen originals from his oeuvre - works that provide a particularly individual view of him. Dorit Pohl has been studying the famous Deutschrömer for a long time and shares unknown and entertaining facts and stories about Reinhart and art around 1800.
