First Franconian Forest Insta-City Walk

Under the motto "Green-Blue Slippers Day", around 10 photo enthusiasts from all over northern Bavaria explored the most beautiful corners of the city of Hof - all under the banner of nature, history and regional delights. The tour began with an e-scooter from Y-Mobility along the idyllic Saale river - urban, mobile and close to nature at the same time. The tour then led through the wonderfully green Theresienstein and the colorful Botanical Garden, where there were countless photo opportunities. A special highlight was the guided tour of the family-run traditional brewery Meinel-Bräu. Gisela Meinel provided exclusive insights into the art of brewing and then treated the participants to a regional three-course meal. Finally, an entertaining Hussite tour led through Hof's old town - and deep into the eventful history of the famous Hof Schlappentag. The conclusion of the participants: an all-round successful day that showed the city of Hof from its surprisingly charming, green and historic side. The "GrünBlaue Schlappentag" whetted the appetite for more - and showed impressively how much potential there is in an Insta Walk. The next FRANKENWALD Insta-City-Walks have already been scheduled: on August 30, we will be walking through the Lucas Cranach town of Kronach and on September 27, we will be targeting the beer town of Kulmbach.
