Fifty-fifty cab paused

The city administration is aiming for a continuation in 2025.

The Fifty-Fifty Taxi project will have to temporarily pause from November 1, 2024 for financial reasons. Thanks to the support of nine companies in Hof, the service, which has enabled young people and young adults between the ages of 16 and 27 to travel safely and at a reduced price at weekends and on public holidays, has so far been maintained. Due to the high demand, these funds will now be used up before the end of the year.

The city administration is aiming to continue the service in 2025 and is currently examining various funding options.
