Extended opening hours of the registration office in the city of Hof

Press release from the city and district of Hof on the joint approach regarding the Hof registration office

Due to the current situation, the registration office of the city of Hof is still available for private individuals with prior appointment. A limited contingent for customers without an appointment is also available. In these cases, waiting times are to be expected. Occasionally, it may also be the case that requests cannot be processed on the same day and a new appointment is necessary.

In order to keep waiting times as short as possible, the opening hours will be temporarily extended.

The registration office will be open on Monday, 16.06.2025, from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 25.06.2025 until further notice also on Wednesdays from 14:00 to 16:00.

As this is still an emergency operation of the registration office, the city of Hof asks for your understanding that there may still be restrictions and delays in the operating procedures.

The registration office of the district administration office is also available for registrations. Due to the continued increase in the number of visitors, longer waiting times than usual are to be expected and it is recommended that you plan your visit accordingly.
